Zoom Experience

As we mentioned in our previous update Leicester Magic Circle continues to thrive albeit on a virtual basis and is offering an extensive Virtual Lecture Programme for the foreseeable future.

Many of you may have heard of Zoom but may not have used it or may be unfamilair with how it works. At it's most basic level it is a face-to-face video conferencing facility which allows participants to communicate with each other from anywhere in the world.

We are aware that some people are uneasy seeing themselves on screen, however Zoom offers the ability for you to turn off your Webcam so you can sit back and enjoy our Lectures as though you were watching TV!

If you want to interact without video Zoom has a 'chat room' function where participants can engage in a chat and pose questions to the Lecturers at any time.

We want to have as many Members and Visitors as possible join our Virtual Lectures; it's been a great experience so far and we would dearly love to 'see' as many of you as possible going forwards.
